The education-aiding-the poor project initiated
by Tsinghua University is a cause of public good which benefits the
country as well as the people. It aims to provide people in the underdeveloped
areas with the opportunity to utilize the high-quality education resources
under the support of modern information technology.

| We will select 100 national poor-aided counties mainly in the western
areas in three years to assist them to establish the Tsinghua Education-Aiding-the
Poor distance learning centers free of charge and transit education
resources which meet the demands of different people. |
